Recently, in the third phase of China's 5G technology research and development test organized by imt-2020 (5G) promotion group, zte took the lead in completing the SA 3.5ghz field test of independent networking SA based on 3GPP R15 standard, and was the first manufacturer in the industry to complete the SA mode 3.5ghz system test. This is also the first validation of SA system (including laboratory base station functional test and field test) in the industry since 3GPP announced the completion of 5G's first international standard R15 in June 2018.
Zte in the SA test strictly abide by the 3 GPP standards and SA test specification, using 5 g end-to-end product, include 5 g base stations, 5 g core network, and terminal 5 g since etc, choose the Option2 SA networking, 5 g base stations connected to the 5 g core network, to build an end-to-end architecture, 5 g to 5 g independent site deployment, the 3 GPP standards define the basic function of physical layer, link adaptive and scheduling, multiple antenna technology, CU - DU 5 g wireless side key content such as separation architecture and deployment scenario full verification; In huairou district of Beijing, the new field capacity verification, such as community throughput, user experience rate, time delay, coverage and so on, was carried out to fully verify the network performance of 3.5GHz band 5G independent networking mode.
In June 2018, 3GPP approved 5G independent networking SA functional standard freezing. On July 14, zte restart 5 g testing technology research and development in the third phase and test schedule, on 24 days after 2 months to complete the new product development, the end-to-end test environment deployment, function test and field performance verification, full display zte 5 g system maturity and leading, and 5 g network commercial deployment support ability.
Zte also recently completed the first NSA 3.5ghz and 4.9ghz system test, including laboratory function test, field performance test, core network test, and AAU radio frequency test. Zte is the first manufacturer in the industry to complete the low-frequency test of NSA, and conducted some tests for R16 and future evolution. The phased results of SA test and NSA test completed by zte in 5G technology research and development test are of great reference value for 5G deployment planning of operators at this stage, providing operators with 5G end-to-end commercial products and solutions, and helping operators quickly achieve 5G commercial success.
Under the leadership of the ministry of industry and information technology, China's 5G technology research and development experiment is led and implemented by the imt-2020 (5G) promotion group, aiming at promoting 5G research and development and industrial development. The experiment will be carried out from 2016 to the end of 2018 and is divided into three phases: 5G key technology verification, 5G technology scheme verification and 5G system networking verification. As the last part of 5G technology r&d and test, 5G phase iii test is the closest to 5G commercialization. It will lay a good foundation for large-scale test conducted by operators, strongly promote the implementation of global 5G unified standard, and promote the global 5G technology r&d, industrial development and commercial process.
As one of the important members of China's imt-2020 (5G) promotion group, zte takes the initiative to undertake a number of key technical breakthroughs and product research and development tasks, takes the lead in a number of 5G key technology direction research and standardization promotion work, and actively participates in China's 5G technology research and development experiments. In the first phase of the test, zte took the lead in completing the verification of key technologies in the low-frequency and high-frequency fields of 5G. Massive MIMO, new multi-access mode, new waveform, signaling load separation, network slicing, mobile edge computing and other key technologies of 5G were verified. Successfully completed all test items of seven scenes including continuous wide-area coverage, hot spot high-capacity (low frequency), hot spot high-capacity (high frequency), low delay, high reliability, low power consumption and large connection, and two mixed scenes in the two-stage test, and took the lead in 26GHz field test, with excellent air port performance.
